David S. Lester

Mr. Lester is the Managing Partner of CLMC and is admitted to the bar in both New York and Florida.

Mr. Lester combines expertise in the disciplines of corporate and real estate law with an in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulatory and business matters. Mr. Lester routinely counsels individuals and legal entities in their business and real estate matters including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and general business counseling, and provides representation to individual healthcare providers, group practices and related businesses in the healthcare arena. Mr. Lester was at the forefront in establishing several of the earliest healthcare provider networks to be formed in New York.

Mr. Lester is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Touro Law School, where he has taught Real Estate Transactions for over a decade. Mr. Lester has served as General Counsel to the New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Queens County Dental Society. He is a frequent contributor to various journals and periodicals and was privileged to author a chapter titled “Real Estate Lease Considerations for the Health Care Professional”, in the joint venture treatise published by the Medical Society of the State of New York and the New York State Bar Association, named Legal Manual for New York Physicians.

Mr. Lester is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York County and Nassau County Lawyers Associations, the Florida Bar Association, and the American Health Lawyers Association. He has been a frequent lecturer and guest speaker at hospitals, medical society meetings, and other facilities. Mr. Lester has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Temple Beth-El of Great Neck.
